Stauferland Tour 2
StauferLand Tour 2
Stauferland Tour 2 Round and about Stauferland. This is another of those after work Specials; or would it be considered as one of those "Warm-up" rides just to be made for fun. Whatever the reason, It's a good ride. Considered to be a "Spur-of-the-Moment" ride for experience, this tour brings the rider into some very good backroads' scenery that is found in and about the "Hometown" of Göppingen. Choose your machine well for this one. I, personally wouldn't take a high speed bike through this one since the main routes of travel just happen to be mainly "Country Roads". This would or could dictate the type of road conditions one would likely encounter. Also, Speed limits on some sections of this tour will also play a large part in determining your choice of a suitable machine. It's Country-sides and Villages here. If you want to fly, take a plane (here comes that fine print section on Autobahns). This is the "Day 2" tour. Although it's similar to Tour 1, it includes characteristics that are a lot more moving. Set-up in the Schwäbisch Alb foreground, it contains more mountainous terrains as it's predecessor. It's time consuming. All out, a good ride. Fast and demanding; if just not for the fact alone, that the "Rider" will be sharing his travels with the ever present "Motorist" on this one. Quite afew of the roads on this one tend to be used as major avenues of travel and well with speeds allowed up to 65 mph and that on the back roads (some being considerably narrower as the US standards); commuters going to and from their daily chores tend to use these as shortcuts in order to save themselves some time.
